As a preface to the post below, perhaps I should make a disclosure about my sources and allegiances, since some doubt has (quite reasonably) been cast.

All of my information about the elections comes from reading the various leaflets, talking to candidates, chatting with the Farrago officers (briefly and drunkenly), and watching. And an email or two from interested parties who have visited this site. Since election week, my info has largely come from the papers, Farragette and the GTS website.

I'm not associated with any club on campus -- as I have mentioned, I'm technically a card-carrying member of the Australian Greens, but that's more for my personal amusement.

I don't know if that will appease the conspiratorially inclined, but in their direction I can only shrug.
